A hummingbird, a koi, and a seahorse have all come to life in gold scrap metal thanks to Brooklyn artist Vik Muniz, originally from Brazil. First he redefined garbage as seen in the 2010 documentary “Waste Land” and now it looks like he is refining it to gilded perfection. They will be shown as digital prints at this week’s Armory Show.
